The Welsh singer/songwriter first exploded on the charts two years ago with her debut Family Jewels and since then, she has embraced a colder, meaner and – surprisingly so – more earnest pop direction.
Dave and Jade catch up with Marina to talk about her ridiculously infectious single ‘Primadonna’ and the stunning new album Electra Heart, which hits stores in Australia on Friday 18 May.
Marina talks about the album’s raw and intensely personal content, and opens up about why she struggled to initially express what Electra Heart was really about.
The bubbly pop siren also talks about the glossier pop sound she has embraced and what she has learned about taking such a creative risk.
There’s definitely more than meets the eye with this Diamond.
